Beijing Capital Airlines to Receive First A330 Aircraft on July 10

The first wide-body aircraft for Beijing Capital Airlines (JD) is estimated to arrive in Beijing on July 10, the reporter learnt from related authorities Friday.

Capital Airlines' first wide-body aircraft will be an A330-200 dry-leased from Indonesian operator, Garuda Indonesia (GA), which will initially operate domestic flights JD517/8 from Sanya to Chengdu.

The Beijing-based regional airline disclosed previously that three A330 wide-body aircraft will join its fleet this year, using them to long-haul flights from Hangzhou and Beijing to Copenhagen this September.

Currently, Capital Airlines owns a fleet of 51 Airbus aircraft including 22 A319s and 29 A320s, which is one of the youngest and largest Airbus aircraft operators in China.
