Aerolineas Argentinas, the country’s flag carrier that in the previous week added two international routes, has further expanded its network with the addition of a new domestic service from Buenos Aires Aeroparque (AEP) to Parana (PRA) on 5 March. The 362-kilometre sector will be served daily, utilising Austral Airlines’ 96-seat E190s. This airport pair is already served by SOL Airlines’ six weekly services. On 5 March, Parana Airport celebrated the arrival of Aerolineas Argentinas’ first flight from Buenos Aires Aeroparque, which is operated by Austral Airlines’ E190s. Passengers on the first flight were welcomed with a special fanfare ceremony and gift bags by the airport.
