The new city pairs will be flown daily using the carrier’s A319s, and both face direct competition. Services on the 3,737-kilometre journey to Baltimore/Washington will face competition from Southwest Airlines (15 times weekly) and United Airlines (13), while the 2,189-kilometre sector from Los Angeles to Kansas City will face competition from Southwest Airlines (21 times weekly) and Delta Air Lines (13). The airline now serves 11 destinations from Los Angeles including Chicago O’Hare, Houston Intercontinental and Fort Lauderdale.
