Sichuan Airlines (3U), a regional carrier headquartered in Southwest China's Chengdu city, took delivery of a brand new Airbus A320 aircraft on Friday morning, which is the second new aircraft delivered to the airline in this month, following an A321 joining in its fleet on July 28.
The new A320 aircraft, Registration B8326, expands Sichuan Airlines' allAirbus fleet to 103 aircraft, which is the largest allAirbus fleet in China. provides more capacity supports for the airline in the summer travel peak.
Sichuan Airlines took delivery of its 100th Airbus aircraft on May 22, 2015, making the Chengdubased carrier become the seventh airline in China to have a fleet of 100 or more aircraft. The Chengdubased carrier plans to take another 100 aircraft over the next decade, the airline said.
