SpiceJet has increased the number of direct services to Dubai by adding new flights from Amritsar and Kozhikode.

The 2,025-kilometre sector from Amritsar will operate daily (except Saturdays) and face direct competition from Air India Express (daily flights). The 2,675-kilometre route from Kozhikode will operate daily and go up against Air India, Air India Express and IndiGo, all of whom operate daily flights. SpiceJet already serves Dubai from six other Indian cities; Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kochi, Madurai, Mumbai and Pune
