Eurowings has this week launched 19 new routes across its network, with the majority coming from its new Vienna (VIE) and Munich (MUC) bases, along with a summer expansion from its Salzburg (SZG) base which opened in January

Not only did these three bases see route additions this week, but Berlin Tegel (TXL) has gained a connection to Faro (FAO), Hamburg (HAM) has welcomed Bologna (BLQ) and Paderborn (PAD) is now linked to Palma de Mallorca (PMI). Of the 19 new routes, nine will face direct competition, with two seeing more than one incumbent. The average sector length is 1,228 kilometres and the average weekly frequency is just 1.8 flights per week.
