Maduro "gives" his A319CJ Presidential Jet to Conviasa

Conviasa has been "given" the Venezuelan presidential jet, a Fuerza Aérea Venezolana A319-100CJ, FAV0001 (cn 1468), by president Nicholas Maduro. In his address to a meeting of regional mayors and governors in late December, Mr Maduro said: "I have delivered the presidential Airbus to Conviasa to reinforce its fleet as more aircraft, that we have acquired to optimize the services of the airline, begin to arrive." It is uncertain at this time as to how and where the Venezuelan national carrier will deploy the twinjet.
