Five ARJ21-700s Gather at Yanliang Airport for Flight Testing

 

China's home-made regional jet ARJ21-700 (serial number 105), landed smoothly at Xi'an Yanliang Airport (NNN) at 11:27 a.m., Sep. 5, after a 2-hour flight from Shanghai, and by then all five ARJ21s gathered at the flight test center.

The fifth ARJ21-700 aircraft, the first one to be delivered to its launch customer, will be transferred to AVIC Flight Test Center after detailed examination and some ground tests. The regional jet will conduct several major test flights of aircraft performance and reliability, operate a series of route proving trials and perform other preparations for getting airworthiness certificates and delivery.
