Eurowings’ Vienna to London Stansted and Barcelona
Eurowings is offering connections from its new Vienna (VIE) base, initially operating direct flights from the Austrian capital to the destinations of Barcelona (BCN) and London Stansted (STN), before adding Palma de Mallorca next week. The first of two A320s will be stationed in Vienna to operate these new routes. “With Eurowings we have a new carrier launching flight service from Vienna, and we look forward to the cooperation with the airline. As a result, our passengers will have new attractive flight offerings to interesting travel destinations to choose from”, says a pleased Julian Jäger, CCO Vienna Airport. Eurowings will initially offer the London Stansted route six times weekly, to be expanded by two additional flights as of the beginning of December 2015 and a third additional weekly flight starting in January 2016. The long-haul arm of the brand also used the last seven days to further expand its long-haul, low-cost operation from Cologne Bonn
