On 15 January the carrier (a joint venture between Thailand’s Nok Air and Singapore’s Scoot) began a four times weekly service on the 3,246-kilometre route to Tianjin (TSN) using its 777-200s. No other carrier serves this airport pair, though four airlines (Air China, Okay Airways, Spring Airlines and Tianjin Airlines) operate a total of 21 weekly flights between Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and Tianjin. NokScoot’s other destinations from Bangkok are to Nanjing, Qingdao and Taipei.
