S7 Airlines (S7, Novosibirsk) expects its nascent Charlie Airlines (Larnaca) unit to complete its certification with the Cypriot authorities by autumn of this year airline officials have told Russia's Gudok news service.
Operations are expected to commence within 3 to 4 months of the issuance of its Air Operators Certificate (AOC) and Air Transport Services Licence (ATSL), they said.
As previously reported, Charlie Airlines is a 40/60 joint-venture between Russia's S7 Holdings and a consortium of Cypriot investors. It will operate a pair of A319-100s, sourced from S7, on regional European flights.
