Tarom puts 14 aircraft up for sale
Tarom (RO, Bucharest Otopeni) has set in motion previously announced plans to dispose of 14 ageing aircraft deemed surplus to future requirements.
A Request For Proposals (RFP) said the aircraft are offered on a voetstoots basis (as-is, where-is) with indicative starting prices offered as a guide.

No deadline for the submission of offers was given.
Should the entire complement of 14 aircraft indeed be sold off, the state-owned carrier's fleet will consist of two ATR72-500s, four ATR72-600s, four B737-800s, and eventually five B737-8s.
