Having been granted Commuter Air Authority by the US Department of Transportation (DOT) last month, the Floridian operator will use the turboprop on regular passenger and cargo flights from its Fort Lauderdale Executive hub to the Bahamian airfields of Andros Town, San Andros, Congo Town, Chub Cay, Bullock Harbour, North Eleuthera, Rock Sound, Staniel Cay, Moss Town, and Cat Island.
All scheduled flights are operated by Exuma Cays Travel, Inc.
Watermakers Air also operates three Cessna Grand Caravan 208Bs and one Piper (single piston) PA-32-300 aircraft.
