FLEET - Titan Airways adds first E190

Titan Airways (ZT, London Stansted) has acquired its first E190. The aircraft is also the carrier's first regional jet.
G-POWX (msn 19000543) was registered in the United Kingdom on June 26, 2025. It was ferried from Maastricht to London Stansted on June 27, according to Flightradar24 ADS-B data. The 2012-built aircraft can seat up to 97 passengers in a dual-class layout, including nine business class seats and 88 economy class seats. It is owned by Hagondale Limited, the parent company of Titan Airways. G-POWX was previously operated by Air Astana and MAI - Myanmar Airways International, ch-aviation data shows.
Titan Airways plans to use the E190 for both ACMI contracts and charter flights. The airline did not respond to ch-aviation's question about its future fleet plans

Titan Airways announced on 11 May 2023, that it has retired its final Boeing aircraft in the fleet, B757-200 G-ZAPX. The aircraft carried out its final flight on 4 May 2023 already, flying from Accra to London-Stansted, where it's now parked.

Titan Airways to end B737 freighter ops in 2Q23

Titan Airways (ZT, London Stansted) is planning to retire its only remaining Boeing freighter, a B737-400(SF), in April 2023, replacing it with additional A321-200(P2F)s, Cargo Facts has reported.

At 30.1 years of age, G-POWS (msn 25853) was retired from regular rotation in mid-December 2022, and has been undergoing maintenance at London Stansted since December 21, 2022. The aircraft has been operated by Titan Airways since 2018, initially for one year in passenger configuration. Its only previous operator was British Airways. Titan Airways will return the aircraft to Automatic Leasing post maintenance.

Once gone, Titan Airways' Boeing fleet will be down to just two B757-200s, of which only one remains active on leisure charters. The airline used to operate Boeing and BAe Systems aircraft exclusively through 2013, when it added its first A320-200. The ch-aviation fleets history module shows that since then, Titan has been gradually moving towards an all-Airbus fleet. In January 2020, it selected the A321-200NX(LR) to replace the B757s.

The airline is also growing its fleet of Airbus narrowbody freighters. The ch-aviation fleets advanced module shows that it currently operates one A321-200(P2F) on its British AOC and a further two via Titan Airways Malta (TM, Malta International). It plans to add two more A321-200(P2F)s during the course of 2023: G-POWW (msn 2060) around May and G-POWN (msn 3830) at a later point this year. Besides the A321 converted freighters, Titan Airways also operates a single A330-300(P2F), as well as two A320-200s, one A321-200 not currently earmarked for conversion, and three A321-200NX(LR)s.

UK's Titan Airways adds first A330-300(P2F)

Titan Airways (ZT, London Stansted) took delivery of its first A330-300(P2F) on August 27, 2021, and began operating the Airbus converted freighter exclusively on behalf of French forwarder GEODIS in early September.

G-EODS (msn 713) is a 15.7-year-old aircraft last operated in passenger configuration by AirAsia X through March 2020. The aircraft was subsequently acquired by Stratos and leased to GEODIS. It underwent conversion at Châteauroux airport and was delivered to London Stansted on August 27. Following test flights within the United Kingdom on September 2-4, it was deployed into revenue service on September 5, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows.

GEODIS said the aircraft would operate between Amsterdam Schiphol, Chicago O'Hare, London Stansted, and Hong Kong Int'l for at least five years.

"Our AirDirect service has operated more than 650 air charter flights so far across Asia, Europe, North and Latin America in order to secure capacity for our customer shipments worldwide. The experience gained from these operations has led to the decision to charter our own GEODIS Freighter. This will provide our clients with a reliable schedule of flights, under our operational control, helping them overcome the significant logistical constraints that the market is currently enduring,” Executive Vice-President (Freight Forwarding) Eric Martin-Neuville said.

GEODIS has not had any aircraft operated exclusively on its behalf thus far.

For Titan Airways, the A330-300(P2F) is the first widebody aircraft since the retirement of the only B767-300(ER) in May 2020, the ch-aviation fleets history module shows. The British carrier operates two A320-200s, three A321-200s, one A321-200(P2F), two A321-200NX(LR), two B737-400(SF)s, and two B757-200s. Sister carrier Titan Airways Malta operates one A321-200 and one A321-200(P2F).

UK's Titan Airways adds a maiden VIP-configured A318

Titan Airways (ZT, London Stansted) has announced the imminent addition of a maiden A318-100 to its fleet. The UK charter and airline sub-charter specialist confirmed the aircraft will be G-EUNB (msn 4039) currently in service for British Airways (BA, London Heathrow).

The twinjet is configured with thirty-two seats for high-end short and long haul travel and is expected to enter revenue service in early June.

"The latest addition is in line with the carrier’s fleet modernisation strategy, which has seen the introduction of three Airbus A320-200s and an Airbus A321-200 over the last four years," Alastair Kiernan, Commercial Director, said. “The A318 is a great fit for Titan as it enables us to offer our clients an even greater choice of aircraft, with a diversity of capacity and range, while retaining commonality with the rest of the A320 family which allows pilots that fly our other A320 aircraft, to also fly the A318.”

The A318-100 and additional widebody aircraft are also under consideration.
