Taikoo (Shandong) Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd. (STAECO), a HAECO subsidiary specialized in aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul, has completed the world's first C-check on a COMAC ARJ21-700 for Chengdu Airlines.
The MRO operator disclosed in a statement that it completed the checks and handed over the ARJ21 to Chengdu Airlines on February 8.
As the launch customer of home-developed aircraft, the regional carrier took delivery of the first ARJ21, Registration B-331, on November 29, 2015, which was put into commercial operations on June 28, 2016.
