NEW AIRLINE - Motu Link Airline (French Polynesia) will operate ATR72-500F on planned services from Papeete to Bora Bora, Nuku Hiva, Raiatea, Rangiroa and Tubuai in 2026

Motu Link Airline is a new, Papeete-based cargo carrier in French Polynesia, founded to provide dedicated inter-island freight services using ATR72-500(F) aircraft. Securing its AOC in June 2025, it aims to support the local economy by transporting, for example, perishable goods to islands like Bora Bora, Raiatea, and Rangiroa.

The airline was established to fill a gap in the market for dedicated, fast, and reliable air freight, reducing dependence on slower maritime shipping.
As of February 2026, planned routes include 3x weekly rotations to Raiatea, 2x to Bora Bora, 2x to Rangiroa, and weekly to Tubuai, with additional, complex triangular routes connecting, for example, Papeete-Nuku Hiva-Bora Bora-Papeete.
Fleet: The airline intends to operate an ATR72-500(F), with plans to scale up to a fleet of three aircraft by 2027.
