Azul name will be surviving brand in Azul-TRIP merger

Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras is planning to continue to operate under its name after the merger with TRIP Linhas Aéreas. The two carriers are expected to shortly start codeshare operations ahead of a full merger once regulatory approval has been gained. This is currently not expected before the end of the year.
