India's Air Costa granted AOL; outlines planned initial network

Air Costa has received its Air Operators Licence from the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), thereby clearing the way for it to start operations, tentatively scheduled for Q4 of this year. Backed by the LEPL group, Air Costa intends to launch with two EMB-170s and two EMB-190s with its initial network to consist of flights from Vijayawada to: Hyderabad Int'l, Chennai, Bangalore Int'l, Ahmedabad and Jaipur. Thereafter, flights to Pune, Goa, Madurai, Thiruvananthapuram and Vishakhapatnam will be added at a later stage.
