Boeing 787-9 First Passenger Flight Takes Off

The first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner of All Nippon Airway has officially arrived in Japan and joined the fleet of the Japanese carrier. The 787-9 Dreamliner took part in a special commemorative flight carrying the Japanese & American school kids for a ride over Mount Fuji on Aug. 4. It is the first passenger flight for the 787-9 Dreamliner.

The airline said the 787-9 Dreamliner is scheduled to enter commercial service on three domestic routes from Aug. 7 and will be introduced to international routes from April 2015
