Nepal's Saurya Airlines begins scheduled flights

Saurya Airlines started commercial operations on Tuesday, November 18, with flights from Kathmandu to Biratnagar. Flights are on-board the carrier's sole aircraft, an ex-Air Nostrum CRJ-200 of which a second is expected before year-end.
 The airline plans to increase its domestic coverage with flights to Dhangarhi, Nepalganj, Bhairahawa, and Bhadrapur along with chartered mountain flights. Beginning early next year, it also hopes to add flights to Mumbai Int'l, Delhi Int'l, Thiruvananthapuram, Goa, and Colombo Int'l.
