Small Planet outlines German subsidiary's winter operations

Small Planet Airlines Head of Marketing, Simonas Bartkus, says the ACMI/charter specialist's newest subsidiary Small Planet Airlines Germany will begin operations later this quarter.

In an interview with airliners.de, Bartkus said Small Planet Germany would partner with German travel broker Involatus in offering scheduled charter flights from Hanover, Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel,Münster/Osnabrück, Dusseldorf, and Zurich to Fuerteventura and Las Palmas in the Canary Islands.Paderborn/Lippstadt remains a possibility but is still subject to confirmation, Bartkus added.

Under the terms of the deal, two A320-200s will be based in the Spanish islands for the duration of operations this winter.

Small Planet's planned Summer 2016 roster will be disclosed later in the year with aircraft to be operated by Small Planet Airlines Germany.
