Tianjin Airlines Takes Delivery of 20th A320 Aircraft

A brand new Airbus A320 aircraft in the livery of Tianjin Airlines (GS) landed smoothly at Tianjin Binhai International Airport (TSN) on Friday morning. It is the Tianjin-based carrier's 20th A320.

The A320, Registration B-8066, featuring a configuration of 174 all-economy seats, is the second aircraft of the type that the airline has received this month and the fifth A320 joining the airline this year. To date, the Tianjin-based carrier operates a fleet of 87 aircraft, including 22 E145s, 45 E190s and 20 A320s.

The airline plans to take delivery of two more A320s and two more E190-200s in December to supplement capacity for the 2016 Spring Festival travel rush.

Tianjin Airlines continues its fleet renewal and route expansion in 2015, a year of transformation for the airline. The airline plans to launch long-haul international flights to the major cities in North America and Europe in 2016 after taking delivery of its first A330 wide-body aircraft.
