Norwegian Updates Planned Boeing 787-9 Operation in S16

Norwegian in last week’s schedule update has further reveal planned Boeing 787-9 operation, scheduled to enter operation in summer 2016 season. Based on the update, the 344-seater -9 will initially be based at London Gatwick, with inaugural service scheduled for New York JFK on 27MAR16.

eff 28MAR16 London Gatwick – Los Angeles 2 weekly (3 weekly from 10MAY16, 4 weekly from 02SEP16)
eff 11MAY16 London Gatwick – Ft. Lauderdale 1 weekly
eff 01SEP16 London Gatwick – Oakland 2 weekly
eff 04SEP16 London Gatwick – Boston 2 weekly

Further changes to planned launch date, operational routes and frequencies, remain highly possible.
