Condor expanded its long-haul network with the addition of twice-weekly (Wednesdays and Saturdays) flights from Munich (MUC) to Seattle-Tacoma (SEA) on 21 June

In addition to Munich, Seattle will add new non-stop services to Mexico City, Cologne Bonn and London Gatwick later this year. International passenger traffic at the US airport is up 12% so far in 2017. Two days later the airline began another transatlantic route, this time linking Frankfurt (FRA) and Pittsburgh (PIT). It will be the first time Pittsburgh and Germany have been connected with non-stop service since 2004. Again flown twice-weekly, services will operate on Mondays and Fridays to the Pennsylvanian city. The German carrier will operate both new US services with its 767-300s, and neither route faces any direct competition
