Yamal, GTLK Europe sign lease deal for two A321-200s

Yamal Airlines has signed an operating lease agreement with GTLK Europe, a subsidiary of the Russian State Transport Leasing Company, for two A321-200s due in either late November or early December 2013. Both parties signed a Letter of Intent in July in which would see the onward placement of two CRJ-200s, four A321-200s and an undisclosed number of "regional aircraft" at Yamal. Yamal already operates seven A320-200s, three B737-400s, six B737-500s and nine CRJ-200s on flights throughout Russia, Armenia, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Montenegro.
