Alaska orders more B737s, AA swaps B787-9s for -8s

Alaska Airlines has ordered four more B737-900(ER)s the latest Boeing Order figures show. The original launch customer for the type back in 2001, Alaskan operates thirty-two B737-900s with an additional twenty-five on order, the last of which is to be delivered during 2017.

The US manufacturer's figures also show American Airlines has revised its order for B787-9s converting four into B787-8s. American is due to take delivery of its first of sixteen B787-8s in November this year ch-aviation
