V Air aims to expand the network to Japan and Korea destinations by Q2 of 2015 The airline will operate a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft in an all economy configuration
November 2013 obtained CAA’s permission to establish V Air; 27 November 2014 received Air Operator Certificate (AOC)
V Air will have a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321’s aircraft to support the initial operation with all economy configuration. V Air will end 2015 with a minimum 5 aircraft and current plans are to expand the fleet by introducing at least 2-3 aircraft every year.

V Air aims to expand the network to Japan and Korea destinations by Q2 of 2015, also plans to operate scheduled services from Taiwan to cities in North-East Asia and South-East Asia within a four-hour radius.

V Air “V” symbolizes young generation as it can mean “Voyage”, “Vision”, “Vivid”, “Victory”, “Venture”...or words that correspond to Taiwanese young generation’s characteristics.
Formosan black bear, an animal with the typical V-shape chest mark, was selected as the airlines’ mascot as the animal’s traits--being energetic and having full of curiosity-- resemble to V Air’s spirits.
