Established in November 2013, is a Taiwan base low-fare carrier that brings affordable travel options and value-for-money travel experiences. V Air has launched officially on 17 December, 2014 for Taipei-Bangkok service.
V Air aims to expand the network to Japan and Korea destinations by Q2 of 2015 The airline will operate a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft in an all economy configuration

November 2013 obtained CAA’s permission to establish V Air; 27 November 2014 received Air Operator Certificate (AOC)

V Air will have a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321’s aircraft to support the initial operation with all economy configuration. V Air will end 2015 with a minimum 5 aircraft and current plans are to expand the fleet by introducing at least 2-3 aircraft every year.

Formosan black bear, an animal with the typical V-shape chest mark, was selected as the airlines’ mascot as the animal’s traits--being energetic and having full of curiosity-- resemble to V Air’s spirits.
