Scoot to finally receive B787-9

Scoot is expected to take delivery of its first B787 aircraft this Saturday.

The low-cost carrier (LCC) has a total of 20 Dreamliners on order — ten B787-9s and ten of the smaller B787-8 variant. Its first Dreamliner will be a 787-9.

Originally slated to receive the aircraft at the end of 2014, this was inadvertently delayed numerous times , with Scoot now expected to launch its inaugural B787 services to Perth and Hong Kong from February 5.
