Turkish Airlines to lease five A330s; confirms Afriqiyah deal

Turkish Airlines has confirmed it will lease two A330-300s from Libya's Afriqiyah Airways a filing with the Istanbul Stock Exchange has revealed. F-WWTS (cn 1499) and F-WWCK (cn 1535), which are currently in storage at Teruel in Spain, will be secured on 8-year long contracts it said.

The Turkish carrier will also lease three A330-200s from Wells Fargo Bank Northwest, NA adding to its existing fleet of seventeen A330-200s.
