Al-Fagaan: A significant advancement in the Blue Bird’s fleet due to its modern features that suit the requirements of passengers
As part of its ongoing commitment to support its fleet with the latest types of aircraft, and in continuation of its strategic plans to develop its diverse fleet, Kuwait Airways announced the receiving of its first Airbus A330-900NEO aircraft named “Boubyan” arriving from the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France on Monday.
Speaking on the aircraft’s arrival, Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan said, “Kuwait Airways is pleased to receive its first Airbus A330-900NEO aircraft, the first of seven aircraft of the same type to be received successively over the coming years, according to the company’s aircraft delivery plan. The arrival of the Airbus A330-900NEO supports the national carrier of the State of Kuwait’s in fulfilling key goals within its wider plan to expand its network of routes around the world. The new aircraft is also an addition to the Blue Bird’s fleet, which will serve the company’s operational processes.”
Al-Fagaan added, “The company is constantly following up on its customer’s requirements to provide the latest and best services. Furthermore, Kuwait Airways remains dedicated to ensuring the utmost comfort and safety for its passengers on every journey. The arrival of the A330-900NEO is a continuation of an important stage in developing the distinguished services that the company provides to its passengers on board, in addition to various air transport services.”
Al-Fagaan stated that the Kuwait Airways Board of Directors is constantly following up on the aircraft fleet plan, according to the operational requirements and in line with the needs of the air transport sector. He emphasized that the company is striving to develop and enhance its entire system by providing innovative and customer-centric offerings that align with the evolving needs of its valued passengers and meets their requirements for a safer and more comfortable travel experience.
Al-Fagaan highlighted that the A330-900NEO aircraft offers passengers a comfortable and exciting travel experience. He emphasized that this aircraft is equipped with advanced technology and a diverse entertainment system, ensuring an enjoyable journey, and is specifically designed to be environmentally friendly.
Al-Fagaan added that Kuwait Airways’ fleet consist of diverse aircraft which are new. The fleet incorporates a wide range of advanced technologies and features designed to offer all means of comfort and luxury to its esteemed passengers. The current fleet includes 27 diverse aircraft, with the arrival of the new aircraft, consisting of the following types of aircraft:
• Boeing B777-300ER aircraft
• Airbus A320neo aircraft
• Airbus A330-800neo aircraft
• Airbus A320ceo aircraft
Al-Fagaan concluded by reaffirming Kuwait Airways' ongoing commitment to offering innovative and cutting-edge services that keep pace with the commercial aviation sector that align with international standards, while catering to the desires and aspirations of its valued customers.
