Air Europa to add A330-300s for Caribbean leisure routes

Air Europa plans to lease two ex-Orbest (Spain) A330-300s to increase its own flights to the Caribbean following the bankruptcy of Orbest and its tour operator parent Orizonia.
Air Europa, itself owned by Spain's largest tourism group Globalia, will use the two aircraft to increase capacity on long-haul routes with a strong leisure focus from Madrid Barajas (MAD) to Cancún International (CUN), Havana José Marti International (HAV) and Punta Cana International (PUJ). After having already added another ex-Orbest A330-200, Air Europa will operate a total of 13 long-haul aircraft from this summer season, 11 A330-200s and the two A330-300s.
