Start-up, Air Andorra, plans multiple daily Barcelona flights

Air Andorra is an Andorran start-up with plans to offer 5x daily flights from Montferrer La Seu d'Urgell to Barcelona El Prat.
Operations-wise, the carrier intends to acquire an ATR42-300 as well as various smaller business jets. The primary market targetted on the route will be Russian and Israeli tourists arriving in Barcelona and wanting to go to Andorran ski stations or to visit the Pyrenees, the airline said. In the long term, additional flights to Toulouse Blagnac, Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan, Ibiza, Madrid Barajas and Lisbon will also be added.
