Golden Myanmar Airlines has started operating domestically between Yangon and Thandwe.

On 4 October the carrier, which is the subject of anna.aero’s airline profile this week, began thrice-weekly flights (Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays) on the short, 256-kilometre route utilising its ATR 72-600s. Competition on the route comes from Air Mandalay which serves the market daily with ATR 42s.

Golden Myanmar Airlines launched services from Yangon to Thandwe on Saturday 4 October. The route will be served thrice-weekly by the airline’s ATR 72-600s and compete for customers with Air Mandalay’s daily servisse.
