Hamburg Airways suspends operations termporarily, AOC suspended

Hamburg Airways  has temporarily suspended operations as of December 20, the German civil aviation authority (LBA - Luftfahrtbundesamt) has confirmed to ch-aviation. Its Air Operator Certificate has been suspended and no longer appears on the list of current operating licenses published by the LBA on December 22.
 The German charter carrier has operated a fleet of four A320-200s on charter services and hopes to restructure and resume operations again at a later point in time.
