Frontier Airlines had a busy run-up to the festive period, launching 10 new routes from six airports to three airports in Florida – namely Miami, Orlando and Tampa.

The longest of the ten new sectors was the 12 times weekly, A319-operated route between Denver (DEN) and Miami – at 2,750 kilometres. At 1,386 kilometres, the shortest city pair commenced was the twice-daily connection between Philadelphia (PHL) and Orlando (MCO), flown by the airline’s 138-seat A319s.
