Singapore's Scoot brings forward B787-8 commercial debut

Scoot has brought forward its planned introduction of B787-8 operations from November to August of this year Airline Route reports.

The B787-8, of which the Singapore Airlines subsidary has ten on order, is now scheduled to enter service on August 1 with flights from Singapore Changi to Tianjin initially followed by Qingdao and Shenyang on August 2. Operations to Melbourne Tullamarine in Australia are still set for November 1.
