Korean Air has expanded its European network with the addition of non-stop service to Barcelona

On 28 April the SkyTeam carrier began three times weekly flights on the 9,590-kilometre route from Seoul Incheon (ICN). The route will be flown primarily by the airline’s 777-200ERs and faces no competition. This brings to 14 the number of airports served in Europe by Korean Air, with non-stop flights from Seoul. Spain is one of only three countries which gets flights serving two different airports, as the airline already serves Madrid. Italy receives flights in Milan and Rome, while Russia gets service to Moscow and St. Petersburg. The other eight European country markets served are Austria (Vienna), Czech Republic (Prague), France (Paris CDG), Germany (Frankfurt), Netherlands (Amsterdam), Switzerland (Zurich), Turkey (Istanbul Atatürk) and the UK (London Heathrow).
