Cyprus Airways added another European airport to its network on 1 June, with the airline now serving Prague (PRG) from its base at Larnaca
This comes off the back of the airline’s launches to Verona and Zurich last week. Cyprus Airways will operate a weekly (Fridays) flight on the 2,306-kilometre sector to the Czech Republic capital, with competition coming from Travel Service which offers three weekly flights. From 2 July, the airline will add a second weekly (Mondays) rotation to Prague, with all flights scheduled to be flown using the carrier’s A319s, of which it presently has two. With this launch, Cyprus Airways now operates to nine destinations from Larnaca, with a 10th – Chania – scheduled to begin on 14 July, with the airline planning to serve the Crete airport twice-weekly. By the peak of S18, the airline will offer 34 weekly departures from Larnaca
