Air Moldova has settled its dispute with a Turkish creditor, after one of the carrier’s A321 and one A319 was briefly detained over debts.



BestFly (Angola) foresees a fleet of six aircraft for the operation in Cape Verde, including a second 190, and connections between the archipelago with West Africa and Portugal.


TAAG (Angola) will wet-lease an A330 from Hi Fly (Portugal) for three months. The aircraft will operate on flights connecting Luanda with Lisbon, from 15 June 2022.


Vietnam Airlines is evaluating the A220 and E190/195 regional jets as part of its fleet renewal plans to replace its retiring ATR72s



Aeroflot (Russia) plans to order 300 aircraft from the United Aircraft (Russia), including the SSJ100, MS-21 and TU214.



Garuda Indonesia took delivery of two leased A330-900s, serials 1870 and 1887, which were transferred over from subsidiary Citilink.





ITA Airways (Italy) took delivery of another A350-900, which is on its way from Shannon Airport. With this delivery, ITA will have four of the eight A350s ordered from Airbus already operational on the intercontinental routes from mid-June 2022.




Karun Airlines (Iran) took delivery of one B737-300, serial 29327, which is on lease from Kenyan Reliance Air Charters.



Niceair (Iceland) flights to Akureyri from London and Manchester have been temporarily cancelled after the carrier was forced to fly passengers home to Iceland with an alternative airline, due to Brexit-related complications. A permanent solution is being worked on.
