Air Cote d’Ivoire will launch a new service between Abidjan and Johannesburg at the end of June 2022, with A320neo.


Edelweiss (Switzerland) took delivery of one A320, serial 5069.



Enter Air (Poland) took delivery of two A320s, serials 2717 and 2322.



European Aviation Group (UK) has launched a company called European Design Services with the intention to modify European Cargo’s fleet of A340-600s in Bournemouth.


FedEx Express (US)
 has launched a new air cargo route between Beijing and Paris, via Osaka, with B777F.



Jiangsu Jingdong Cargo Airlines (China) submits a formal application for certification to the bureau for the CCAR-121 operation certification.


Qantas (Australia) has reinstated its A380 on its Melbourne to Los Angeles route, after bringing its fourth A380, serial 062, out of Victorville and returning it to passenger service. Five Qantas A380s still remain in Victorville.


Rossiya (Russia) has received one more SSJ100, serial 95044, as part of the process of replenishing its fleet with domestic aircraft.


CAL Cargo (Israel) is rebranded to Challenge Airlines IL as it moves into a new headquarter building in Tel Aviv. It currently operates a fleet of two B747, however two B767 are in the process of being converted to freighters.

Air Transat (Canada) expects an expected delivery of two A321LRs during 3Q 2022 with five more to come, bringing the number of aircraft of this type to 17. The carrier to also wet-lease aircraft to fulfill its summer 2022 schedule. 

EquAir (Ecuador) plans to operate charter services from Quito to Punta Cana and Curacao in July and August 2022.

Jin Air (South Korea) to resume operation its B777-200ER from 12 June 2022, after almost a year and a half. The carrier plans to complete maintenance of the remaining three B777-200ERs in the near future and put them into operation as well. B737-8 operations to begin in July 2022.


Air India Express is eying more international connections from second and third tier cities in India as part of its expansion plan over the next five years. The countries include Cambodia, China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Turkey and Vietnam. 

Air Serbia is introducing 12 new routes in June 2022 with services to Trieste, Lyon, Hanover and Bari inaugurated over the past seven days, while Bologna, Nuremberg, Salzburg, Palma and Sochi are all set to follow soon.


Fly Gangwon (South Korea) acquires Vietnam’s foreign AOC. Its newly introduced A330s to be introduced to major cities in Vietnam from 02 September 2022,

Freebird Airlines (Turkey) wet leases one B737-800 from SkyUp Airlines (Ukraine) for summer 2022.

Korean Air
will resume operations on three long-distance tourist routes in order from July 2022, from Seoul Incheon to Las Vegas, Milan, and Vienna, with A330-200 used on the Vegas route.

mas (Mexico) has now added a pair of A330-300P2F, serials 958 and 964, on lease, confirms CDB Aviation (Ireland).

One Air (UK)
to take delivery soon of one B747-400BDSF, serial 25075, transferred from partner Aerotranscargo (Moldova).

Plus Ultra (Spain) reinforces its fleet with the incorporation of three A330-200s, which will be delivered by the end of June 2022.
