Amaszonas expanded its South American offering with the addition of its first service to Argentina on 26 November, when it commenced thrice-weekly flights to Salta (SLA). The airline will be flying its 50-seat CRJ 200s to the city located in the Lerma Valley, at 1,152 metres above sea level, from Tarija (TJA) and Santa Cruz (VVI), with the latter being operated via Tarija (TJA). While no other carrier flies from Tarija to Salta, Boliviana de Aviacion already operates directly from Santa Cruz to Salta with twice-weekly flights.
