China West Air (PN), a budget airline owned by HNA Group, on Tuesday unveiled a new logo and a new look for its aircraft amid a brand overhaul.
The low-cost carrier unveiled its new purple logo and livery on an Airbus A320 aircraft. The new look will be gradually rolled out across its fleet in the near future. The airline also rolled out a new-look website and a new domain name - westair.cn.
The Chongqing-based carrier was officially transformed into a budget carrier in September 2013. As of December 2014, West Air operates a fleet of 17 aircraft, consisting of Airbus A320s and A319s with an average age of 2.4 years.
The airline has applied to the CAAC to expand its business scope to cover international operations to neighboring countries and it is expected to fly abroad in early 2015.
