Joy Air Orders Two More MA60s

Joy Air (JR), a joint venture between China Eastern Airlines (MU) and Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), has placed firm orders with AVIC Aircraft Xi'an Branch for two more MA60 aircraft.
The latest purchase agreement was inked on Dec. 26, 2014 in Yanliang District, Xi'an, with deliveries scheduled in the first and second quarter of 2015.
Joy Air began flying on June 1, 2009 with a fleet of 3 MA60 turboprops. The airline operates an all-MA60 fleet serving domestic regional routes. It is the second largest MA60 operator in China following Okay Airways (BK). The regional carrier also has 20 C919s and 50 ARJ21s on order.
