My Indo Airlines adds first B737-800(BCF)

My Indo Airlines (2Y, Jakarta Halim) is about to induct its first B737-800(BCF), N254GE (msn 32691), becoming the first operator of a B737NG converted freighter in Indonesia.

The 15.9-year-old aircraft was ferried after conversion at Shanghai Pudong to Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta on June 23, 2022. It operated a proving flight around the Indonesian capital on June 29 but has since remained parked, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows. It, which is owned by GECAS/AerCap, remains registered in the United States.

"It will provide more cargo capacity for our customers and at the same time offer the opportunity to expand our network within Asia," the carrier said.
