FLEET - Southwest Airlines takes delivery of its 1000th Boeing 737 aircraft

We’re thrilled to announce that we recently accepted our 1,000th brand-new delivery from Boeing! If you’re lucky enough to fly on this beauty, you’ll notice a special commemorative plate installed in the main door frame as you board.
The pictured Boeing 737-8 MAX 8 N8885Q (msn 42554) was handed over on September 29, 2023 and ferried to the Phoenix base.
