Liz Aviation SA, commenced its operations with an inaugural flight from Ouagadougou to Bobo-Dioulasso on April 27, 2023. The airline aims to achieve three major objectives: developing regular services between cities within Burkina Faso, establishing safe and efficient routes connecting Burkina Faso with neighboring countries in the sub-region, and revitalizing the country’s aviation sector as a catalyst for economic growth and business creation.
Beginning from May, the airline offers four weekly flights connecting Lomé and Niamtougou in Togo with Ouagadougou. Additionally, Liz Aviation SA will operate the Lomé-Ouagadougou-Lomé route every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Liz Aviation SA has leased two ATR 72-600 aircraft from Avation, a Singaporean lessor. The 70-seat all-economy class turboprops, registered as 2-FBXA and 2-FBXB, will ensure efficient and comfortable journeys for passengers. One of the aircraft has been re-registered as XT-LIZ to reflect its association with the airline.
