Himalaya Airlines, a Nepal-China joint venture carrier, has launched service on the 3,357-kilometre route between Kathmandu (KTM) and Doha

Initially the route will be flown thrice-weekly increasing to daily from 15 June. Competition on the route is provided by Qatar Airways (21 weekly flights) and Royal Nepal Airlines (four weekly flights). The airline has a single 158-seat A320 and started scheduled services to Colombo back in April.

Aenna
