TAAG Angola Airlines to offer B747 freighter flights

TAAG Angola Airlines (DT, Luanda) has signed a longterm contract with Network Airline Management (NAM) for the provision of a B747-400(F) for Luanda-Liège, Belgium flights.


The nose-loading freighter's weekly return service will carry up to 120tonnes of petroleum-related and general cargo and will also provide export capacity for Angolan firms seeking access to the European market and beyond.


NAM sub-contracts its operations to a number of operators including: Atlas Air (5Y, New York JFK); Allied Air (4W, Lagos); Astral Aviation (8V, Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta); and Western Global Airlines (WGN, Sarasota/Bradenton).
