PAWA Dominicana on 16 November launched a 13 times weekly service between Santo Domingo and Miami in Florida

The route will be served by the airline’s MD-83s. Competition comes from American Airlines which already operates the 1,365-kilometre route with 19 weekly flights. For PAWA Dominicana, this is its first sector to the US and the only one of the nine scheduled routes it operates which is served at least daily. Its fleet currently comprises seven MD-80-series aircraft
