Germania's Bulgarian Eagle unit secures AOC, launches

Bulgarian Eagle (BEG, Sofia) has commenced revenue operations after having recently secured its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from the Bulgarian civil aviation authority.

A statement said that the ACMI/charter unit has already based its only aircraft, A319-100 LZ-AOA (msn 3139), out of London Gatwick for use by parent carrier Germania (ST, Berlin Schönefeld) on flights to Kefallinia, Pristina, and Skiathos.
